This key drafts lines and copy. It does not render. Sign in at platform.claude.com, open Settings, then API keys, and choose Create key. Name it, set an expiration, and link it to yourself or a service account. The full key starts with sk-ant- and is shown once. If you lose it, create another.
Anthropic does not allow another product to offer Claude.ai login or to route requests through a Free, Pro, or Max plan. Paste a Console API key.
