Get an Alibaba key

In Model Studio, open the API key page for the region you will call, and choose Create API Key. Copy the key out of that dialog. You will not see the full key again. Beijing, Singapore, and the other regions listed on that page share one procedure. US (Virginia) is its own page: switch the region to US (Virginia), then API Key, then Create API Key.

A key from one region does not call another region’s endpoint. Permissions can limit the models and the IP addresses. That is not a dollar cap. Alibaba’s key page does not ask you to switch on a separate international billing setting first. If lotgen’s quote for this platform says unknown, lotgen is waiting on a price. It is not a step you missed.
